On 29 August 2024, the Faculty of Arts warmly welcomes all (pre-)Master's students to the (pre-)Master's Welcome Day. On this day, you will receive all the necessary information about your study, your schedule, internship opportunities and practical (study) tips. You will be personally invited by email to register. If you already have a question about the pre-Master's, please feel free to contact your student advisor. The student advisors are also available if you wish to discuss any issues (personal or otherwise) that may affect your studies, or if you would simply like to meet, you can make an appointment via the button below. More information about study associations can be found below. If you have not received your pre-Master's package or if you think something is wrong with regard to the number of ECTS for your pre-Master's, please contact premaster@let.ru.nl as soon as possible. Then the Student Administration will register you for the compulsory courses of the pre-Master's programme one week before the start of the academic year at the latest. The main goal of a study association is the improvement of time spent as a student, by means of various activities. The different study associations organise informal activities to connect the students, as well as formal activities that complement the study programme and offer students a look into possible career paths. Through the open character of each study association, members can connect with students of their own year as well as higher and lower years in an enjoyable way. As a pre-Master's student, many of your courses are part of the Bachelor's curriculum, which means that you will follow most of your courses along with Bachelor's students, whereas you are of course preparing for a Master's programme. It can therefore sometimes be difficult to get the information that is applicable for you as a pre-Master's student. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind that in many cases you can find your information at the Bachelor's of your pre-Master's programme.

Ordering books and readers

You can find the required books and readers in the course guide. You can often obtain books with a discount via the study association of your programme. More information about study associations can be found below.

Registering for courses and exams

You should have received (a link to) your course package when you were admitted to the pre-Master's programme. This can be found in your official admission email.
